Meet Candice, the powerhouse behind Frio Cryotherapy & Wellness. Candice brings a diverse blend of skills to our team. With a nursing degree and a passion for healthy weight loss, her clients experience significant but safe changes. Her supportive husband is also a nurse with over 15 years of experience in the emergency room, specializing in pediatric emergency medicine. He is also a firefighter paramedic locally in Florida. Together they strive to make Frio an enjoyable and stress-free environment for everyone.
Ilya Chern, MD
Medical Esthetician/Director/Owner
Dr. Chern graduated from Michigan State College of Human Medicine and did his residency in Denver, Colorado. He is board certified in emergency Medicine. He was the medical director of the Plantation General Hospital Emergency Department for over 20 years, and chief of staff of PGH and Mercy Hospital. He was also chairman of multiple hospital committees. In 2020, after a long & protracted Covid illness, he focused on rehabilitation, longevity, and wellness. He discovered that the field is inundated with dubious, and sometimes dangerous, practitioners out for self-promotion and financial gain. This is why he uses evidence-based models that improve health and wellness. He is continuously learning and is looking forward to sharing your journey.
